Comfort PTC Heating Film
Heating film, also known as carbon heating film, is the thinnest type of electrical heat source. It consists of two copper strips that supply an electrically conductive coating on a carrier material. Almost the entire surface within the heating foil heats up evenly and thus ensures pleasantly warm floors over the entire installed area.
Compared to other electrical heating systems, the energy used is converted into infrared rays with almost no loss, which is what makes the infrared heating foil so efficient.
The heating foil can be applied to the wall or ceiling without much construction work.
The infrared heating foil is well suited for cold walls to reduce mould formation or to temper the living space. It is also well suited for ceiling mounting, where it can be used as a full-fledged heat source. In combination with e.g. a stretch ceiling, you get an efficient and visually appealing ceiling!
PTC (English "Positive Temperature Coefficient") is a temperature-dependent resistor which has the positive property of temperature coefficients, resulting in a positive influence on the current consumption in both cold and warm conditions.

When using electric heating elements, ensure that the surface covering has the appropriate thermal conductivity.
A manufacturer's approval must be obtained in advance by the customer.
The installation of electrical heating systems may and must only be carried out by a specialist in accordance with VDE DIN 100.
