In addition, our silicone heating cables offer outstanding thermal conductivity and exceptional flexibility. With a slim diameter of just 5.5 mm, they are versatile and can even be used for frost protection of cold store doors, roller shutters and sectional doors. Their minimal bending radius of 15 mm allows easy adaptation to a wide variety of shapes, making installation effortless. A striking feature of our first-class heating cable is the seamless transition from the heating conductor to the PTC thermistor, which is emphasised by an eye-catching red marking.
For use as pipe trace heating, we recommend insulating the pipe to minimise heat loss. Installation is carried out by fixing the heating cable along its entire length with aluminium adhesive tape to ensure good contact with the pipe and prevent direct contact between the heating cable and the insulation. With a maximum allowable surface temperature of +200°C and a minimum ambient temperature of -60°C, they offer reliable performance in various environments.
The Mi-Heat Outdoor Thermostat GH600 is our all-rounder in the field of temperature control. The easy-to-operate surface-mounted thermostat can be used for either heating or cooling operation. It can be used to control heat sources such as heating cables, heating mats, infrared heaters and convectors, as well as cooling units or fans.
A generous temperature setting range from -50°C to +99°C enables a wide range of applications. The temperature is measured via an external sensor with a cable length of 2.8 metres. The set and measured temperature can be viewed at all times on the integrated LCD display. In addition, LED lights indicate the current operating status of the thermostat. Thanks to the socket covered with a protective cap, the device is splash-proof to protection class IPX4 and is also ideal for protected outdoor areas.
