Efficient Warmth Against Fog – Mirror Heating Film for Bathroom & Living Area
The electric mirror heating film is the clever solution to retrofit existing mirrors in bathrooms, toilets, or wellness areas with an effective anti-fog function. The thin heating film is mounted directly on the back of an existing mirror and reliably prevents fogging after showering or bathing – for clear visibility at all times and more comfort in everyday life.
The mirror heater works with modern infrared technology, which distributes the heat evenly over the mirror surface. No air turbulence or noise is generated. Installation is quick and uncomplicated: the heating film is attached to the back of the mirror using temperature-resistant adhesive tape and then connected to the 230 V power supply.
Note on installation: The heating film must be switched – ideally together with the mirror lighting or via a separate light switch, so it can be conveniently turned on and off as needed. A thermostat is not required for this application.
Important for selection: The heating film should be at least 4 cm smaller than the mirror surface all around to allow enough edge space for secure attachment with adhesive tape.
You will receive the selected length of infrared heating film in widths of 25, 30, 50, or 80 cm. The heating output per running meter is:
- 25 cm width: 55 watts per meter
- 30 cm width: 67 watts per meter
- 50 cm width: 80 watts per meter
- 80 cm width: 112 watts per meter
