Patio Heater
Infrared luminous radiators – comfortable warmth for outdoors
With high-quality patio heaters, you can extend the summer season on your balcony, patio, or in your garden and enjoy pleasant warmth outdoors even on cooler evenings. Our infrared luminous radiators do not heat the air, but act like sun rays directly on skin, clothing, and objects. This creates an immediately noticeable warmth that lasts reliably even in windy or drafty conditions.
Thanks to the wide range of models and power levels, you will find the right radiant heater for every situation: from compact table and floor-standing units to powerful wall and ceiling radiators. Freestanding units are a flexible solution that can be quickly set up in any desired location. If the heat source is to be permanently installed, models for wall or ceiling mounting are available. Particularly ingenious variants are parasol heaters, which are attached directly to the parasol frame and thus provide the seating area with even heat.
When choosing the right radiant heater, the location is crucial. For protected outdoor areas such as patio roofs, pavilions, or summer gardens, IP24 protection is usually sufficient. In unprotected areas without a roof structure, however, at least IP65 should be selected to permanently protect the heater from rain and weather.
Another important point is the design of the radiator: luminous radiators work with short-wave infrared A radiation (0.78–1.4 µm) and emit noticeable heat in a few seconds – perfect for open areas with air movement. Dark heaters, on the other hand, use long-wave infrared C radiation (>3 µm) and are more suitable for rooms that are protected from the wind, as the heat distribution is slightly delayed but does not produce any visible light.
High-quality premium models are often equipped with carbon heating elements, which have a particularly low glare effect. Many devices can be controlled by remote control or even via a smartphone app. Multiple heat settings allow flexible adjustment to the desired heat intensity.
To help you choose the right power for your space, we have compiled the most important guidelines for you. In open areas, it is better to use the lower specification, while in closed or wind-protected areas, the higher specification may be used.
