Electric underfloor heating for laminate & parquet flooring.
Whether additional or main heating, an aluminum heating mat provides very good results and can be installed quickly. The construction is very simple. The Twin heating conductor is glued in loops between the aluminum support material so that the heat can be optimally distributed.
The advantage of the Twin technology is that only one PTC thermistor is connected to the heating conductor, so that even large areas can be covered with the aluminum heating mat without creating a cable tangle.
It is particularly easy to lay the mat in rectangular or square rooms. Here, the mat is laid from one side of the room to the other. When it reaches the end, the backing material is cut, the mat is turned and laid back again. Large areas can be laid out quickly in this way.
Where the heating conductor is now exposed due to the rotation, everything is taped again with the enclosed aluminum tape.
Why is this important? The aluminum carrier material also serves as a PE conductor. This must not be interrupted, so it is important that all open conductor points are reconnected at the end, so this heating mat can even be used in damp rooms.
The Mi-Heat two-wire heating mat consists of a shielded two-wire heating cable, which is attached to an aluminum-coated textile fabric. The electrical connection of such a system is made by a so-called "cold end", which is connected to the heating cable by a reliable, long-tested connection technology. Unlike the single-wire system, the power supply of the two-wire system comes only from one end of the heating circuit. There is no need to return the second connection cable.
