The 17/5 Black heating mat is characterized by its unique product technology, which has a better heat distribution compared to other heating systems, with a round heating cable.
Thanks to the flat and wide heating cable, the heat emitting surface is five times larger. In addition, the small loop distance of approx. 5 to 6cm ensures uniform and fast heating of the floor covering. These core properties make this heating system particularly efficient.
The thin-bed heating system is ideal for renovation, as well as for new construction. It is characterized by its very low installation height and can be quickly laid on the existing screed.
The heating mat is laid out and can be laid either directly into the leveling compound or into flexible adhesive for tiles.
The multi-layer flat heating cable is fixed on a fiberglass mesh, which facilitates laying, provides stabilization and has a crack-bridging effect.
Other advantages of the multi-layer flat heating cable are a short heating-up time and homogeneous heat distribution. With conventional round heating cables, heat distribution is much more uneven, so that the individual seedlings may be subject to different temperatures. In addition, a few millimeters are saved in the installation height.
Note: Underfloor heating is the perfect solution for old buildings that have no energy modernization or a quick heat-up is desired.
Structure:
Lay the heating mat directly into the leveling compound or into flexible adhesive for tiles.
After that, the tile can be laid with tile adhesive.
