Soil sensor for open spaces
The soil sensor type ETOG-56 is designed to be embedded in the outdoor surface with the ETOK-1 sensor tube. The ETOK-1 sensor tube is a mounting tube for ETOG-56 that comes with a wooden plug to cover the ETOK-1 hole during installation. The floor sensor measures both temperature and humidity.
Two ETOG-56 floor sensors can be connected to the ETO2-4550 controller to keep large areas free of ice, even when exposed to different conditions. If an asphalt surface is used or easy installation is desired, installing ETOG-56 together with ETOK-1 is the obvious choice.

Reference
The sensor cable (ETOG-56) cannot be replaced. The connection cable is 25 m long and can be extended to 200 m (with standard installation cable: 6 x 1.5 mm²).
