Our Mi-Heat EcoTWIN S heating cable with 17 W/m offers a robust, safe and efficient solution for electric underfloor heating systems. With a cable diameter of 6 millimetres and particularly durable, chemically resistant insulation, it is ideal for installation directly in screed flooring. Firmly embedded in the screed, the heating cable is reliably protected and completely enclosed, ensuring even heat distribution, optimised heat conduction and a long-lasting heating solution.
A key advantage of the heating cable is its high flexibility during installation. The loose Mi-Heat EcoTWIN S heating cable can be laid with a loop spacing of 7 to 14 cm, allowing the heating output per square metre to be individually adjusted. This allows different heating zones to be created in a targeted manner – for example, with a narrower spacing in front of the washbasin or along colder exterior walls. It is important that the minimum distance of 7 cm is not exceeded in order to ensure safe and efficient operation. Depending on the installation situation, the heating cable is fixed in place using mounting tape, adhesive tape, hot glue or mounting adhesive, so that even complex floor plans can be implemented without any problems.
Thanks to modern twin-conductor technology, the EcoTWIN S heating cable only needs to be connected to the mains on one side. This greatly simplifies installation, as unlike older cable types, both the start and end of the heating cable do not need to be connected. The single-sided connection saves time, minimises installation effort and reduces the installation height in the transition area. This is a clear advantage, especially in existing buildings or rooms with lots of nooks and crannies.
The heating cable also impresses in terms of safety: the surrounding protective conductor braid and the high IP protection class allow it to be used without hesitation in damp rooms such as bathrooms. In combination with a suitable thermostat, this creates a powerful, comfortable and at the same time economical heating system that can be precisely controlled and ensures even heat distribution.
