Our self-regulating heating cable offers an ideal solution for frost protection and heating pipes, gutters and many other applications. It can be ordered individually by the metre and adapts perfectly to your needs.
Thanks to its self-limiting PTC technology, the cable automatically adapts to the ambient temperature: As the temperature rises, the heating output decreases, while it increases as the temperature falls. This makes the heating cable particularly energy-saving and efficient. Another advantage is that the cable can also be laid overlapping without being damaged, making it easy to install even in complex shapes and objects.
The possible applications of the heating cable are extremely diverse. It is ideal as pipe trace heating and gutter heating to effectively prevent frost damage and ice formation. In gutters and downpipes, it ensures the unimpeded drainage of melt water, preventing damage caused by falling ice or snow. It is also perfect for frost protection of water pipes, liquid containers, gutters of driveway ramps and animal drinking troughs. It even provides reliable service as a defrost heater for air conditioning condensate pipes or to protect plants, flower pots and garden ponds.
Thanks to its robust construction and UV resistance, the heating cable is suitable for long-term outdoor use. With additional polyolefine insulation, it offers reliable frost protection down to temperatures of -40°C. The self-regulating heating cable is not immediately ready for connection! A cable connection set and possibly a connection cable with a Schuko plug are required for the electrical connection. All products for the correct electrical connection can be found below in the accessories.
