Automotive relay 12V/40A with socket - The power booster for 12V heating Systems
Ideal for use with our 12V thermostats! This automotive relay is the perfect addition for 12V heating films, which are particularly popular in the camper community as electric underfloor heating or for protecting water tanks against frost. However, high currents due to the low voltage can exceed the load capacity of the thermostats (models M3 and Mi-10). This problem can be solved with the 12V/40A automotive relay - without having to dispense with heating surfaces or install several thermostats.
The relay has a practical plug-in base and 4mm² connection cables for the load circuit, which are designed for high currents. It is simply mounted behind the thermostat and takes over the load, minimising the load on the thermostat itself and extending its service life. The load current flows directly from the battery via the relay to the heating films - safely, efficiently and reliably.
