Mi-Block 5mm heating film underlay - Ideal for vinyl floors thanks to 500kPa compressive strength
Our Mi-Block Impact sound insulation provides a stable base that protects the electric heating film from mechanical damage caused by furniture or loads. Thanks to the anti-slip surface, the underlay is ideal for many floating floor coverings with a click system. With an impressive compressive strength of 500kPa, the Mi-Block underlay is particularly ideal for design and vinyl floors, as no HDF core layer is required. However, vinyl flooring with a core board, laminate and parquet can also be laid on this underlay without any problems.
Our heating film underlay provides excellent thermal insulation (R=0.17m²K/W), preventing heat from escaping downwards or into unwanted areas. This significantly increases the efficiency of your electric underfloor heating. With an impact sound reduction of 18dB, the Mi-Block underlay also offers excellent sound-absorbing properties that improve room comfort by effectively dampening noise.
The Mi-Block heating film underlay fulfils the increased requirements of the MMFA (Multilayer Modular Flooring Association) and is the perfect choice for a durable and efficient underfloor heating solution.

Application
1. clean the substrate
2. lay out Mi-Block heating film underlay
3. bond butt joints with optionally available OPP tape
4. lay out and wire the Mi-Heat heating film
5. cut or cut out areas for the connection cables and connection points of the heating film
6. cover the Mi-Heat heating with the optionally available PE vapour barrier
7. finally, the floor covering can be laid as a floating floor
