When regulating pumps/motors, it is important to note that the starting/inrush current is many times higher (7 to 10 times) than the value stated on the unit’s rating plate.
The inrush current must therefore be determined first to ensure that the dimmer is not overloaded.
Furthermore, no devices with start-up capacitors or other upstream electronics must be connected to the power controller.
Our power controller operates using phase-angle control, which is suitable for resistive or inductive 230V AC loads. The maximum connected load of the respective power controller must be observed.
