Comfort PTC heating foil
Heating foil, also known as carbon heating foil, is the thinnest version of electrical heat sources. It consists of two copper strips that supply an electrically conductive coating on a carrier material. Almost the entire surface within the heating foil heats up evenly, providing pleasantly warm floors over the entire installed area.
Compared to other electrical heating systems, the energy used is converted into infrared rays with almost no loss, which is what makes the infrared heating foil so efficient.
Without much construction effort, the heating foil can be applied to the wall or ceiling.
The infrared heating foil is well suited for cold walls to reduce mold or to temper the living space. In addition, this is well suited for ceiling mounting, where it can be used as a full-fledged heat source. In combination with e.g. a stretch ceiling you get an efficient and visually appealing ceiling!
PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) is a temperature-dependent resistor, which has the positive property of temperature coefficients, which leads to the fact that the current consumption is positively influenced both in cold and warm condition.

When using electric underfloor heating, a thermostat that allows an adjustable temperature limit of 26°C must be used for control.
When using electric heating elements, care must be taken to ensure appropriate thermal conductivity of the surface covering.
Manufacturer approval must be obtained in advance by the customer.
The installation of electrical heating systems may and must be carried out exclusively by a specialist in accordance with VDE DIN 100.
Heating foil power and its use:
Vinyl = 60-100 watts/m²
Laminate/parquet = 60-130 Watt/m²
Wall/ceiling and individual projects = 160-220 Watt/m².
