Heatit Z-Wave Thermostat Z-TRM7 Black Matt
Thanks to its integrated Z-Wave technology, the thermostat can be conveniently integrated into compatible smart home systems. Temperature settings, heating schedules and operating modes can therefore be controlled and automated centrally. The Heatit Z-TRM7 supports features such as Z-Wave SmartStart, encrypted S0 and S2 communication as well as firmware updates via the Z-Wave network (OTA). A compatible Z-Wave controller is required for smart home control.
The Z-TRM7 offers three operating modes: Heating, Cooling and Eco. Temperature control can be performed using hysteresis, PWM or power regulator mode. The power regulator allows operation without using the internal or an external temperature sensor. A weekly schedule can be configured via a compatible Z-Wave controller.
A particular advantage of the Heatit Z-TRM7 is its active energy consumption monitoring. The integrated power metering function allows current energy consumption to be monitored in real time. When using an external contactor, the corresponding power value can also be entered manually.
The thermostat features an integrated room temperature sensor and also provides connections for up to two external temperature sensors. This allows the device to be used flexibly as a room thermostat, floor thermostat or in a combination of room and floor sensors. Numerous NTC sensor types are supported, including 6.8, 10, 12, 15, 22, 33, 47 and 100 kOhm. This also makes the Heatit Z-TRM7 an excellent replacement for many existing thermostats.
Additional convenience is provided by the integrated open-window detection. If the thermostat detects a rapid drop in temperature, the heating can be switched off automatically. Additional functions include temperature limitation, temperature calibration, adjustable display brightness and a keypad lock / child lock.
For long-lasting and reliable switching performance, the Z-TRM7 is equipped with ZeroX technology. The relay is switched close to the zero crossing of the mains voltage. This reduces the load on the relay contacts and can significantly extend the service life of the thermostat.
Using Z-Wave associations, the Z-TRM7 can also be used as a master thermostat. This allows up to 10 additional thermostats and up to 10 external Z-Wave relays or suitable plug-in switches to be controlled.
The clear LED display provides a modern appearance and excellent readability. The three control elements are seamlessly integrated into the front panel and allow convenient operation directly on the device. With its black matt finish, the thermostat blends particularly well into modern interiors and dark switch ranges. The robust metal mounting frame ensures secure installation in the flush-mounted box. Thanks to its 55 x 55 mm insert, the device can also be integrated into many common switch ranges from leading manufacturers.
