Highly efficient and robust - heating film for wall and ceiling
The Mi-Heat HighEnd Carbon heating film stands out from many other "standard" films on offer due to its full-surface heating element and very robust multi-layer construction, making it the highest quality product in our heating film range.
The heating film consists of two copper bands, which are supplied with a special nano-coating via a silver net applied to the carrier material. Between the two supply tapes, a full-surface electrical resistance is created that heats the special carbon heating element to its optimal temperature. For the highest possible protection, the heating element is enclosed by several PET and urethane layers, which makes this film extremely resistant.
Compared to many other heating foils, which usually have recurring small interruptions in the carbon view, this heating foil heats the entire surface between the supply bands continuously. The additionally increased heat emission surface makes this heating foil particularly efficient and thus ensures even and pleasant heating over the laid surface. The generated and harmless infrared radiation directly heats the objects above, whereby no air turbulence occurs.
The HighEnd heating foil can be installed quickly and with low investment costs as additional or main heating. It is not only ideal for retrofitting, but also for use in new buildings and can be used as wall or ceiling heating in almost any room (excluding damp rooms).
Advantages of the Mi-Heat HighEnd heating films
-
Nanotube technology: In contrast to the many standard heating films offered with "self-regulating" and so-called PTC technology, the high-end heating film uses carbon nanotube technology. This technology enables an additional gain in efficiency and also increases operational safety and resilience.
-
Multi-layer insulation: The Mi-Heat high-end heating films consist of 7 layers and 5 main components. The production of these components from carefully selected raw materials, their treatment in a heat chamber, as well as the high-quality lamination of the layers are indispensable prerequisites for the manufacture of this robust end product. The quality of the raw materials and the even application of the full-surface nano-technology also play an important role in achieving maximum efficiency. The heating film meets all the necessary European requirements and Standards.
-
More heating surface: Thanks to the fully utilised film surface and the comparatively narrow film edge area, the high-end films have an active heating surface of 96%. This, in combination with the nanotube technology, enables a uniform surface temperature and a fast heating Speed.
Application examples
- Full-fledged heating source in wall and ceiling Areas
- In industry to heat surfaces
Advantages compared to striped infrared heating foils:
- Full carbon surface, which leads to even heating of the surface
- Allows the sheets to be shortened at any point (complete electrical insulation of the cutting edge is required)
- Damage to the carbon surface does not lead to failure of a heating area
- Extremely resistant thanks to 3-fold insulation (6 protective layers)
- Can be laid under concrete and screed
