Effective heat to prevent misted-up mirrors – self-adhesive mirror heating mats for bathrooms and living Areas
Our electric mirror heating mats are a convenient solution for equipping mirrors in bathrooms, guest WCs or wellness areas with an effective anti-mist function. The heating mats are stuck directly onto the back of the mirror and heat the selected area of the mirror evenly. This significantly reduces the build-up of condensation – ensuring a clear view after showering or bathing.
The heating mats are made of durable PET and feature a full-surface self-adhesive backing. The high-quality adhesive achieves an adhesive strength of 0.5 kg/cm and ensures a secure hold on the cleaned back of the mirror.
No additional surrounding edge is required for fixing. This allows the available surface area to be used particularly efficiently and results in even, almost seamless heating of the designated mirror area.
With a heating output of 350 W/m², the heating mats can reach a surface temperature of up to approximately 55 °C, depending on the installation and ambient conditions. The potential temperature increase is around 15 to 25 °C compared to the unheated mirror surface.
The mirror heating mats are available in rectangular and round designs. The dimensions have been deliberately chosen so that several heating mats can be combined with one another. This allows even large, wide or custom-designed mirror surfaces to be heated effectively.
For larger mirrors, several heating mats can be fitted side by side on the back of the mirror and connected in parallel. The heating mats must not overlap.

Installation note: The mirror heating mats must be connected to a circuit – for example, together with the mirror lighting via the existing light switch. Alternatively, our surface-mounted timer with adjustable switch-on duration can be used. This is available under item number 1298.
The back of the mirror must be clean, dry, flat and free of grease before application. Due to the high adhesive strength, the final position of the heating mat should be carefully determined before pressing it into place. The centrally positioned connection box protrudes by approximately 5 mm and must be taken into account when planning the distance between the mirror and the wall.
Connection to the 230 V mains supply and the parallel connection of several heating mats must only be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the applicable regulations.
