The self-adhesive fixing profile is ideal for easy and secure fixing of heating cables when installing electric underfloor heating. It reliably prevents the cables from slipping when applying tile adhesive or levelling compound, ensuring a clean and durable installation.
With a width of 9 cm (equivalent to 3 studs) and a length of 100 cm, the profile is particularly versatile. It is suitable for heating cables with a diameter of up to 4 mm and can be flexibly adapted to almost any floor plan and substrate - ideal for angled areas, irregular room shapes or installation on steps. The loop spacing of the heating conductor can be individually varied in 3 cm increments to optimise the heating output to the room conditions.
The permanently elastic polyurethane adhesive surface retains its shape even under load and ensures a long-lasting connection - without the need for drilling or screws.
Installation is quick and uncomplicated, saving time and costs during installation. Tiles can be laid directly on the profile and heating cable using flexible tile adhesive. For other floor coverings such as vinyl, parquet, laminate or carpet, the fixing profile is first covered with a self-levelling compound. Once fully cured, the desired floor covering can be laid on top - for even heat distribution and a secure hold.
